With the support of Wuhan Science and Technology Bureau, CCEPC, which acts as the lead unit, combined with Wuhan Environmental Protection Science Research Institute, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) and Wuhan Institute of rock and soil mechanics of Chinese Academy of Science to establish "Wuhan Technology Innovation and Strategic Alliance for Soil Remediation of Contaminated Site". The Alliance has many excellent software and hardware resources in many aspects, such as soil monitoring technology, regional environmental screening and assessment, soil remediation testing technology, testing and analysis of soil properties, as well as special equipment and other aspects of geotechnical engineering. A strong research cooperation platform was formed through the organic integration of the alliance. The Alliance has the capacity to carry out the technology development and engineering construction throughout the soil remediation process, such as pollution site investigation, risk assessment, identification of remediation project implementation and evaluation of soil remediation effect.
